Competition Event Overview
[Freshly Prepared Category]
I. Purpose of the Event
To promote Taipei’s specialty beef noodle industry, this event has now entered its 22nd year. This year (2026), the 2026 Taipei International Beef Noodle Festival will be held under the theme “King of Taiwan: Nationwide Battle for the Best Beef Noodles.” In addition to serving as a stage for top beef noodle restaurants from across Taiwan to showcase their culinary skills and creativity, the Freshly Prepared Category will also be expanded in scale to include nationwide regional preliminary rounds divided into two regions, Northern Taiwan and Southern Taiwan. Teams selected from these preliminaries will advance to the final round in October at the Yuanshan Expo Park Promenade Plaza in Taipei. Through this competition mechanism, the event aims to promote healthy competition within the industry, encourage communication and interaction among participants, and foster professional skill-sharing, while highlighting the unique flavors and craftsmanship behind each beef noodle entry.
II. Eligibility
Chain operators may participate in this event; however, only one entry per chain will be accepted. If the chain has a branch in Taipei City, the participating team must represent the Taipei City location. If the chain does not have a branch in Taipei City, this restriction does not apply.
Entries must be submitted in teams of 2 to 3 members. Each team must designate one team leader to serve as the primary contact person.
